At Jade Tile Co., our name reflects the values at the heart of both Mahjong and our community. We created Jade Tile Co. to celebrate the joy of gathering, learning, and connecting through Mahjong. Whether you're a lifelong player or discovering the game for the first time, our goal is to inspire beautiful experiences and foster a welcoming community for all. How it all started....

Hi friend! I’m Aleia, and I recently became a first-time mom. Shortly after having my baby, I kept hearing about Mahjong. I finally asked my husband Jax one night in the kitchen to look it up and explain it to me. Not long after, a close friend and neighbor invited us over, pulled out her set, and taught us the game in just a couple of hours. I was instantly hooked AND my husband also loved the game? A winning combination in my book.

I’ve always loved hosting, and gathering with others truly fills my heart. What I love most about Mahjong is how it creates such beautiful opportunities to spend meaningful time with people you love, meet new friends, and simply slow down and have fun together.

During my maternity leave, I started Jade Tile Co. as a creative outlet to grow my love for Mahjong and to offer thoughtfully designed products for both beginners and seasoned players alike. We are based in Salt Lake City, Utah and would love to connect with you wherever you are!

Our Mission & Focus

At Jade Tile Co., we create unique American Mahjong playing cards and game accessories for players of all experience levels! From those just learning the game, to those who have played for years, we are more than cards we’ve created! We are a community brought together by a shared love of Mahjong!

We have great respect for the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) and the game they support. Jade Tile Co. is an independent company and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NMJL. As our shop and community continue to grow, we look forward to creating products and experiences we truly believe you'll love for years to come, all while staying true to our passion for this amazing game.
